Adobe releasing latest versions of their primary applications today
Software Company Adobe is going to launch the latest editions of their primary software products today. They would also be releasing the Creative Suite 3 and several variants of this suite for different markets.
Market analysts believe that this launch would help the company’s revenue reports for the next six months as most of their existing customers are expected to upgrade to these new versions applications like Photoshop and Flash.
Gene Munster, an analyst at equity firm Piper Jaffray said in his report that the company is likely to take in $2 billion in the next two years from the new release.
This would be the first major released from Adobe ever since they acquired their primary rivals in the market Macromedia. Applications developed by Macromedia are now part of the Adobe’s suites.
Adobe would be selling as many as six new Creative Suite variations with the top of the line package going for $2,499. These would also be the first releases from the company to be fully compatible with Vista OS and Intel processor powered Apple Macs.
