Symantec due to launch Symantec Mobile Security Suite 5.0
Security application maker Symantec has said that they are aiming to expand their mobile security offerings to match their desktop products availability.
The company is due to launch their first suite of security software for Microsoft Corp. Windows Mobile devices.
Symantec at the moment just has antivirus software for Windows Mobile and a suite of antivirus and firewall for Symbian.
This new product launch would be of their Symantec Mobile Security Suite 5.0 which would complement their upcoming version 5.0 for the Symbian operating system for the mobile devices.
The company would be displaying this new software product at the CTIA Wireless show in Orlando.
Symantec said that these new suites would become available in May. Mobile service providers would also be able to offer this application suite as optional or standard features on devices.
