Leaked papers reveal about next version of Windows operating system
Microsoft has just launched their latest operating system release Vista in the retail market. The company has said little on what the consumers can expect from the next version whenever it is released.
However, a leaked document on the company’s website hinted at what all they aim to deliver in the next update. Microsoft wants to make the next updated Windows OS better at search, more secure, more mobile, and cheaper in big deployments.
One of the major goals of the next Windows OS is said to be to “enable flexible computing infrastructures including rich, thin, and network-centric models.” This means that the company is likely to expand their services in Windows Embedded and terminal services.
The document also hinted towards improvement in search features in the next OS from Microsoft. The company aims to bring local, network, and Internet search together. In addition, they are going to make enterprise management functionality like backup, permissions, and schemas more searchable and easier to organize.
