IBM and Cisco Systems launches IBM Management Services for Crisis Response

US based tech giants IBM and Cisco have together launched a new one-stop service which has been designed to help companies respond to disasters. The service is also designed to help them recover from such disasters.

This service would be available starting next month and it has been designed to help companies, emergency responders, government agencies engaged in fields like energy, financial services, and other fields.

This service is called IBM Management Services for Crisis Response and it is based on commercial software and hardware from Cisco and other vendors.

Russ Lindburg, IBM’s director of continuity and resilience services spoke on this launch: “There’s at lot of point services out there that can address facets of what we’re trying to do for emergency crisis response. This is an end-to-end managed service.”
