Microsoft announces its finance community on the Dynamics Web site

Software giant Microsoft has introduced their first service launch in a planned series of online communities for users of its Dynamics applications.

The first launch is centered on finance professionals such as corporate controllers, finance managers and accountants and the users can exchange their ideas on forums and blogs.

Satya Nadella, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Business Solutions group said in a statement on this launch: “You can think of it as the MySpace for financial professionals. It’s how you can have a Convergence [show] 365 days a year.”

The service includes tools including forums, blogs, articles, columns and tagging. This new channel is yet to be named as the company is encouraging the community to vote on what to call itself.
