Adobe Creative Suite 3.0 coming out later this month

Adobe Systems would be launching their much awaited Creative Suite 3.0 software bundle later this month. The company is expected to roll out this product at a special event in New York City on March 27.

The company did not disclose much on what is to be expected from this new release. Adobe however added that this product launch would be “the largest software release in Adobe’s 25-year history.”

Merrill Lynch analyst Jay Vleeschhouwer wrote in a note to the clients that the company would be making available half a dozen distinct bundles of the Creative Suite package. This would give a lot of flexibility to Adobe customers to pick the right product group for their requirement.

This new release would be the first one from Adobe to run natively on Apple’s Intel powered Mac computers. Analysts believe that the launch would help Apple sell more high end Mac computers.

The company is also working on making available a scaled down version of their Photoshop application online. This service is expected to be available for free and would be supported by online advertising.
