Parallels Desktop for Mac updated release to arrive today

Virtualization applications maker Parallels is due to release the next update to their Parallels Desktop for Mac today.

This application is designed to enable owners of Intel processor powered Macs to run Windows Operating System without having to reboot first.

The company stated that the application has undergone massive public beta testing and is now ready for release.

This new release would be made available to existing registered members for free. New buyers can get a copy for $79.99.

Parallels has stated that new features available in this update include Coherence. This feature would let the users run Windows applications from their Mac OS X Finder’s Dock.

It also comes loaded now with another tool named Transporter. This tool helps the user to migrate settings, applications, files and profiles to a virtual machine running on Parallels without having to reinstall Windows.

Also included in this update release is support for USB 2.0 devices like external hard drives, printers and scanners running at full native speed.
