Trend Micro releases InterScan Messaging Security Suite 7.0

Security application maker Trend Micro has announced their updated messaging security hardware and software. The company has also launched solutions for antispam protection for businesses.

Trend Micro showcased their InterScan Messaging Security Suite 7.0 application suite which is now available as a software gateway and appliance.

This package includes now protection against image spam which is increasingly becoming the preferred method for online mail spam.

The company is using its own technology to detect spam messages amongst the received mail messages containing images.

Trend Micro added that they have also added controls to block spam based on an “IP profiler” feature. This would now identify known spam senders through Trend’s Network Reputation Services database and automated thresholds.
