Microsoft releases System Center Essentials 2007 RC1 and System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Beta 2
Software giant Microsoft has released latest preview editions of their System Center 2007 family of management software.
The company released the first release candidate of System Center Essentials 2007. They have also released the second beta of System Center Configuration Manager 2007.
These two applications are both available for download immediately.
Microsoft is targeting their System Center Essentials 2007 application at the midsized businesses with between 50 and 500 computers. This application suite would provide the IT administrators a single console for managing servers, clients, hardware, software and IT services.
System Center Configuration Manager 2007 is the updated edition of their existing product formerly known as System Management Server, or SMS.
