Adobe Systems and Photobucket to offer online video-editing tools
Adobe Systems has announced their plans to offer online video-editing tools to Web Services. Their first partner in this deal is Photobucket and the two companies would share the revenues from advertising.
The company added in a statement that they are now entering a “new stage” in offering over the Web capabilities provided by their applications like Premiere Element and Premiere Pro.
By offering these online tools, Adobe aims to become a major player in this market and grab a piece of revenues generated from advertising.
Adobe is also hoping that this would let potential customer checkout the power of their tools online and this would lure them into purchasing the desktop editions.
Photobucket is planning to make available these tools in March to all of its more than 35 million users. Currently, these tools are only accessible to Photobucket Pro customers.
