Parallels releases Parallels Desktop for Mac RC3
Parallels has released their latest “release candidate” version of its Parallels Desktop for Mac software.
The company said that this release is available for download from the Web site.
This application enables the users of Intel processor powered Mac computers to Windows alongside Mac OS X. they do not need to reboot their computers in order to switch to the other operating system.
Parallels said that this version features Coherence. This means that users can now run Windows applications straight from their dock.
This updated version improves upon USB 2.0 support. It also brings better support for Boot Camp partitions and many other new features.
Also supported is upgrading from XP to Windows Vista. Drag and drop functionality is more secure. Another impressive feature is preliminary support for the upcoming Leopard operating system from Apple.
