eBay to provide more programming tools for third party developers
Online ecommerce giant eBay has said that they are planning to increase the number of programming tools it provides external developers.
This would help them increase the number of applications available for this online platform to sell, auction and buy stuff.
The company would be releasing a new set of SDKs (software development kits). In addition, they would also be providing technical resources to its community of third-party developers.
eBay also plans to release new APIs (application programming interfaces) designed to create applications for eBay buyers specifically. Impressively, this program already has around 45,000 members.
Max Mancini, eBay’s senior director of platform and innovation announced this initiative in a posting to the eBay Developers Program official blog. However, no timeline has been specified for the release of these tools.
