Apple offer fix for Vista related iTunes problems

iPod maker Apple Inc. has indeed released a patch for the users of iTunes application on the Microsoft Windows Vista platform.

Some users had reported that running iTunes on Vista disabled their rights to play the legal music purchased and downloaded from the iTunes store.

The company has now released the iTunes Repair Tool for Vista 1.0. This application fixes iTunes issues reported by new Windows Vista users.

Apple said in the release notes: “The iTunes Repair Tool for Vista 1.0 will repair permissions for important files required by iTunes to play your iTunes Store purchases.”
