Apple iTunes users facing issues with Windows Vista
Apple Inc. is yet to launch an updated Apple iTunes application to completely support the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
And current users of Vista OS with Apple iTunes are facing several issues. Users are complaining that they cannot play songs legitimately purchased and downloaded from Apple Computer’s iTunes music store without tinkering some settings.
A user reported the software appears to be working fine but gives an error when he tried to play a song purchased from Apple iTunes web store. The message told him that the computer is not authorized to play the media.
More people have complained that they cannot play purchased media on Apple iTunes on the Vista platform. Apple support has said that the application is yet not fully compatible with Vista and they are working on an update.
A tech support person responded: “Unfortunately, the iTunes application does not currently support Windows Vista. Apple hopes to have a Vista-compatible version of iTunes available soon, and will update the iTunes download page when it does.”
