TomTom does an Apple with TomTom Go 910
Dutch navigation Systems Company TomTom has said in a statement that some of their navigation devices shipped to the retail markets carried a virus.
The company however said that the virus did not affect the functioning of the device and any decent antivirus application would detect the infection.
The problem is related to some units of their TomTom Go 910 device. The virus was accidentally sent in devices produced within a week.
The company did not however reveal on how many units were affected by this problem.
They are not alone. Sometime back Apple Inc reported that they delivered some of their iPod digital music player with a computer virus.
