NewsGator Enterprise On-Demand: NewsGator develops a hosted version of its RSS management server
Software Company NewsGator Technologies has said in a statement that they have developed a hosted version of its RSS management server.
The company believes that this platform would appeal to small and mid-size companies. NewsGator further hopes to serve independent departments inside large organizations.
This software product is called NewsGator Enterprise On-Demand and it includes most of the feature of their NewsGator Enterprise Server product.
This new product lacks two capabilities present in the higher end version. These two features are the ability to link up with a company’s corporate directory and to grab RSS feeds from behind a firewall.
NewsGator said that their hosted service costs $99 per user per year. It is also available as a free trial for a period of 30 days.
