I never liked hotmail since they purged my account

But it now (beta) has 2 gigs of storage, like gmail.

I Love gmail its better then hotmail by far!

I used gmail because hotmail closed my account for no reason i didnt even close it myself!!

I still cant believe my account got randomly closed!! I had so many things being sent to that address. I HATE YOU HOTMAIL.

Here is advice to hotmail users, LIVE IN THE FUTURE AND USE GMAIL OR ATLEAST YAHOO WHICH IS GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO HOTMAIL.

Hotmail did not yet increase its free account storage for all users its shame to MSN to keep us with 3MB in some Areas while Google gives more than 2000MB Yahoo provide 1000MB MY question until when Hotmail will remain freezed?? wake up MSN keep your customers other providers gives 1000 times what you offer

Gmail is still in it’s Beta stage and they could add HTML support later on. Gmail automatically disables links in HTML messages you receive as to protect you from viruses, but there’s a link at the top of the message (Display external images) which you can click on to enable them.

Hello all:

I had been using Yahoo and Hotmail accounts (primarily Yahoo) for all my email needs. I think Yahoo was the best email service until Gmail arrived and changed the way we look at email. Gmail is the best by far. But the only thing I would like to have in Gmail is to write email using HTML interface, different fonts etc. Further, if you forward an email received in HTML through Gmail, all the links are lost. This is something I would like changed. I’ve even written to the Gmail team for the same. Does anyone of you know if that’s going to happen soon, if ever?

I used to use hotmail as my primary email account for years until Gmail came about that “forced” yahoo to upgrade their storage to 100MB (yes, now 250MB). The one feature that I really LIKED in hotmail was the feature in the settings to disable the “carets” (i.e. “>”) from front of each line when replying. Yahoo and Gmail use “carets” when replying, although in Gmail if you forward the “carets” are not present.

My wish list feature in Yahoo and Gmail is to be able to get rid of the “caret” feature. BTW, my primary email account is Yahoo still. I am debating if Gmail is worthwhile with them keeping my emails forever even after I delete them and then after a period of time giving the emails to whoever asks for it.

I used to be a great fan of Yahoo mail. Had a hard time getting away from them, even though I liked GMail better. Then they increased the web space to 100MB and changed the interface. At the same time they removed one of their BEST FEATURES, namely the option to view/edit HTML in Composing. I wrote to them and asked why. They said it was in order to provide a more streamline interface…yada yada… What harm could that little box ‘View HTML’ do?! I dunno, but I left and will stay with GMail…

I have had my yahoo ID for the last 5 years and spend alot of time on it. I was on it and then logged off for 10 mins and went to get back on it and it said that my account has been deactivated and I have no reason why. Can not find out why and it sucks. i had alot of family on my list that I talked to and didnt write down there yahoo ID’s. can anyone tell me how to find out how to find out why it was deactivated? if so e-mail me at dogshack {at} hotmail(.)com thanks

Okay, so i’ve got my own domain mail and gmail, and love gmail. So i want to forward all my hotmail stuff over from my free hotmail account, and found that i am unable to do so, unless i am majorly blind….From some of the help files ive read in the past twenty minutes, it looks like i have to buy upgraded features just to get away from hotmail. Can anyone provide suggestions, or should i start screaming at hotmail?
