Microsoft finally patches the Office for Mac productivity suite
Software giant Microsoft has finally updated their Office suite for the Mac. The company has released patches to fix several bugs in the Excel spreadsheet.
The Office for Mac suite has also been updated to handle the new Daylight Savings Time rules that go into effect in March.
Microsoft has released patches for the Office 2004 for Mac and Office v.X for Mac. These patches fix five vulnerabilities in the Excel application in the suite.
These patches also include a change to the suites’ Entourage e-mail client so that the program’s calendar properly accounts for the shift in Daylight Savings Time in the U.S.
These software updates are available as a free download from the company’s website in six different language editions.
