Microsoft might release just 4 patches this coming Patch Tuesday
Software giant Microsoft releases the patches for their software products on the second Tuesday of every month. This day is generally known as the Patch Tuesday amongst the system administrators around the world.
The company was due to release as many as eight patches on the first Patch Tuesday of 2007. However, Microsoft has now postponed 4 of the eight patches.
Three of these remaining four patches are for the company’s MS Office productivity suite. One of these three patches has been termed critical by the company.
The fourth bug is for a critical bug in the Windows Operating System.
Microsoft aims to release the postponed patches on the next Patch Tuesday. These four are supposed to be for the Windows OS problems.
