Apple Computer fix issues with Apple iPod Shuffle

Apple Computer has quietly released an application for the owners of Apple iPod Shuffle who are finding it tough to get newly purchased songs on their digital player.

This utility is the “iPod shuffle Reset Utility” version 1.0.1. It updates the earlier released application which was launched in October to fix issues with first-generation iPod shuffles that wouldn’t play music

Apple has acknowledged that a recent update on Apple iTunes store caused the problems with some iPod shuffle players. They are also suggesting that owners of Apple iPod player should upgrade to iTunes 7.0.2 and restore the player using the utility.

Users have confirmed that this application seems to fix up issues with the first generation shuffles which were skipping/not playing iTunes music store-purchased music.
