Google’s version of Internet Explorer 7

Microsoft might be trying to popularize their recently launched Live Search Engine by making it the default search engine in the Internet Explorer 7 web browser, but they cannot stop Google from launching their own customized browser package optimized for their own users.

Like Yahoo!, Google has also launched a Google version of the Internet Explorer 7 web browser. This edition has Google Toolbar installed by default and also comes with Google as the default search engine.

Also, the homepage of this edition is set to the Google’s website.

The company has made use of the Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Administration Kit which allows anyone to make their own customized installer of the popular web browser from the company.

The official version of IE7 was installed by the company on October 18 and the browser is being used widely by web users around the world. The launch of Vista is expected to boost this browser’s usage.
