Hewlett-Packard offering Vista upgrade to their customers

US based personal computer maker Hewlett Packard is now offering their new customers a free upgrade to the upcoming Vista operating system.

The company announced that starting from December 13; customers can register for a free Microsoft Windows Vista operating system upgrade.

Vista is due to launch for retail customers on January 30 next year.

Customers asking for this upgrade would get a kit that includes a Vista upgrade DVD and an additional DVD with the required drivers.

Mark Sanchez, vice president of consumer computing at HP spoke on this offer: “HP began working with Microsoft in 2001, devoting thousands of hours of hardware and software testing and development to ensure consumers’ experience as an affordable, easy-to-follow upgrade path to the new Windows Vista operating system.”

This means that customers of Hewlett Packard can now safely buy new machines without waiting for the launch of Vista operating system.

    I am so sick of my Vista Everytime you change sites the Internet Explorer shuts down and you have to restart . This is very irritating to me, can it be stopped? And, will the new upghrade you are offering free repair these problems. If not give me a new computer. This one is less than 6 months old.
