Microsoft fixes Office for Mac platform
Software giant Microsoft might be taking sometime to fix the bugs present in the Windows version of their MS Office productivity suite.
However, they have now released patches for the Mac version of Office.
The company has released patches to fix bugs in Word 2004 and Word v.X for Mac. These bugs allowed code contained in specially crafted documents to gain control of the computer.
These patches are being delivered through Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.1 Update and Microsoft Office v. X for Mac Security Update (2006-12-12).
However these patches are not going to help the Windows platform users of Office suite.
