Microsoft confirms Exchange 2007 is in manufacturing now
Software giant Microsoft has sent their Exchange 2007 application to manufacturing now. The company aims to ship the application before the end of the year.
This was announced by the company on the Exchange team’s blog.
The company said that the new features in this updated release would include enhancements designed for mobile users, integration with Microsoft’s own Antigen for Exchange anti-virus software, and new policy compliance tools.
Market analysts believe that corporate users would be slow to upgrade to this new version. Microsoft on their part claims that companies can save substantial money by moving to the new software on 64-bit platforms.
