Adobe releases Adobe Reader 8
Software Company Adobe has released the latest version of their popular Adobe Reader application. The latest version is now Adobe Reader 8.
This updated release is available as a free download for the Windows and Mac platform. Adobe said that this new product update add support for Adobe Acrobat Connect which is an online collaboration service that works using Flash.
This updated release also features a new streamlined interface with user-customizable toolbars. Users of this application can now fill and submit forms, save data and digitally sign documents. It also now supports graphics acceleration on supported systems.
Adobe has also for the first time released an Intel-native version of Adobe Reader on the Mac platform. It is currently available in English, French, German and Japanese versions and they are planning to release Chinese and Korean versions early next year. Also under development are versions for the Linux, HP/UX, AIX and Solaris operating systems.
