Apple Computer updates X11 to fix issues with OpenOffice
Apple Computer has just posted an update to their X11 application. This latest release is version X11 2006 1.1.3 and it follows the X11 2006 1.1.2 release which was made available about two weeks ago.
This software product is a graphical user interface employed by some UNIX applications and it comes with Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger”. The application allows the Mac to run UNIX applications that are not designed to use Mac OS X’s graphics technology.
Apple had released the update sometime back to solve issues with GLX stereo visuals. Apple added that this latest release fixes font issues present in X11 1.1.2. Apple is recommending all users to upgrade to this latest update.
Apple X11 2006 1.1.3 asks for Mac OS X v10.4.8 or later and X11 1.1 or later.
