Skype for Mac 2.0 sees Gold release
eBay owned Skype has announced the Gold release of their Voice over IP (VoIP) communications software for the Mac platform.
Skype for Mac 2 is now available as a free download from the company’s website.
Skype 2.0 for Mac now comes with support for free audio and video calls to any other Skype users. They would be able to communicate with Skype users on Windows and Linux platform.
Users can also now have conference calls with up to four people at a time for free.
This latest version requires a G4/800MHz or faster, Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, 512MB RAM, 40MB free hard disk space, and microphone. The application is available as a universal binary.
