11 patches coming this October Patch Tuesday
Microsoft is planning to release as many as 11 patches and updates this coming Tuesday. The company uses the second Tuesday of the month to come out with their monthly round of software updates.
Six of these eleven patches would fix bugs in the Windows Operating System. At least one of these has been labeled critical by the company.
Four of these are for MS Office productivity suite. One is to fix a moderate security risk in Microsoft’s .NET framework.
The company has not yet revealed the vulnerabilities, which would be fixed by these updates. Microsoft however said that at least one patch will answer a Windows flaw exploited by malicious hackers.
