Access and Softbank developing mobile phone applications

Japan based Access Co. and Softbank have said that they are collaborating to develop software applications for the mobile platform.

These mobile applications would be installed on the mobile phones sold by Softbank. The company recently acquired the Japanese mobile division of Vodafone Group Plc.

These models would go on sale this month and would help the mobile users access internet services from their handsets.

NTT DoCoMo is one of the stockholders in Access and they are also working on strengthening its development of advanced application software.
