Google Talk now opens to all

Search engine giant Google has taken an important step to make their Google Talk application popular for non-Gmail users.

Now, the service supports anyone interested in using Google Talk and registration for Gmail is no longer a necessity.

Google lists five major reasons for new people to checkout Google Talk:

Now anyone can use the service (Gmail accounts no longer required)
Free and crystal clear voice calls to your friends and family anywhere in the world
Transfer files and folders to others
Free voicemail messages (MEEP!)
IM from your Blackberry

Considering a lot of people might not have tested this application just because they could not find a Gmail invite, here is a chance for you to checkout Google Talk. We love it!
