Flickr FINALLY launches their official Android app
Flickr has taken a long time to launch an official app for the Google Android mobile platform.
It is finally available from the Google Android Market.
The app features its own in-app camera and comes with support for image filters.
Users can also now share the photos to other social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
The images taken through the app are automatically uploaded to the user’s Flickr account. Users can also keep an eye on their own Flickr account from the app.
For me personally, it is simply too late. I have switched to Google Picasa Web and with Google Plus becoming my favorite social network… I have no plans to continue with my Flickr Pro account.
