Mozilla Firefox 2 Release Candidate 1 is out

Mozilla has finally released the first release candidate of their upcoming browser application update Firefox 2.

Despite the fact that this release has been quite stable for the testers, the foundation recommends that only experienced user download this build for testing.

This update specifically focuses on security as it comes with better tools for safer browsing on the internet.

It also features an updated user interface and comes with dynamic bookmarks that give personalized or updated titles on the bookmark list.

One of the features we loved most is the inbuilt spell-check-as-you-go feature. It mimics the behavior of popular word processing applications and might result in saner conversations on forums and blogs.

Mozilla aims to release another release candidate early next month and is looking for a final release sometime during the last week of October.
