Microsoft might launch an early patch for VML bug in Internet Explorer
Software giant Microsoft has said that they are planning to release a patch for the VML bug in their Internet Explorer application earlier than expected.
The patch was due to arrive on October 10 along with the other patches but the company might release it as soon as it is ready for mass release.
This flaw has become a PR issue for the company as it is already being exploited by hackers around the world. Security firms are claiming that thousands of websites have been setup by these hackers to target victims surfing the web using the Internet Explorer web browser.
For the time being, the company instructs the users to protect themselves by disabling VML coding.
