Apple updates Aperture to version 1.5
iPod maker Apple has updated their application Aperture to version 1.5. The company claims that this update is a major one and it would be made available as a free upgrade to all the existing owners.
As per available information from the company, Aperture 1.5 operates on a new open library, offers seamless integration across Apple’s other applications, including iLife, iWord, and even iTunes. The application also comes with added support for new adjustment tools and XMP metadata.
Users can now store image files wherever they want, including external hard drives and removable media. The application is now tightly integrated with other Apple applications shipped with the Mac computers.
The application now supports plugins, which can now be used to extend the capabilities of the program by third party developers. Some already available plugins have been provided by Getty Images, iStockphoto, Pictage, Flickr, PhotoShelter and more.
