Microsoft to fix the recently discovered flaw in Internet Explorer
Software giants Microsoft have confirmed that they are aware of the security hole in Internet Explorer that allows attackers to hijack a computer.
The company is working on a patch and it should be out in the near future.
This particular flaw uses the Internet Explorer’s Vector Markup Language, which is used to display graphical information in the browser.
The problem has been labeled “extremely critical’ by the security agency Secunia which is the highest threat rating of the agency.
The software firm has said that the update should be out before the October 10. Security analysts have said that the hackers are now targeting the period after the patch Tuesday to come out with their exploits to make sure that they have enough time before Microsoft comes out with another release of patches for their applications.
