Microsoft opens Vista Release Candidate 1 for more testers

Windows Vista Customer Preview Program is now accepting fresh applications from people who want to get access to the first release candidate of the Windows Vista operating system.

The company is now inviting more testers to check out this latest release from the company of their upcoming operating system product due for a launch early next year.

Users can request a DVD or download the 3GB .iso file for the 32-bit version of the OS. A 64-bit edition is also available, and weighs in at approximately 4GB.

If the user requests for a DVD delivery, Microsoft requires the user to pay for the shipping charges. However, to use the .iso file, user would need a DVD writer to make the installable disk.
