McAfee apologies for Falcon launch problems

Security application developers McAfee has apologized to their customers for the initial problems faced by them in the recently launched Falcon security platform.

The company admitted that the initial version caused problems for some of their customers and they have now fixed them.

McAfee Executive Vice President Bill Kerrigan wrote in an emailed apology to their customers: “We would like to extend our sincere apologies to anyone who may have had problems with their computers due to the upgrade.”

However, not all customers faced these hassles with this new application, which is being released in a phased launch.

The company is facing serious competition from rivals including Symantec and Microsoft both of which are trying to woo customers to their security application products.
