Apple rumored to be working on a Final Cut Pro update
iPod maker Apple Computer is working on releasing an update to their Final Cut Pro application sometime next month.
This has been reported by popular Apple News portal AppleInsider. The company is already demonstrating Final Cut Pro 5.1.2 this week.
AppleInsider reports that the new version would feature added compatibility for XDCAM HD, including support for all frame rates and resolutions, including 18mbit and 35mbit support.
It might also come with JVC 24p support, allowing it to import 24p media from JVC’s GY-HD1 series of digital cameras.
AppleInsider expect this update to ship to customers through the Mac OS X Software Update mechanism sometime next month.
