Microsoft releases Beta 2 of Virtual Server 2005 Release 2 Service Pack 1 with support for AMD virtualization technology
Software giants Microsoft have released another test version of an update to its virtualization software. Beta 2 of Virtual Server 2005 Release 2 Service Pack 1 is now available for testing.
Microsoft would be bundling this application with the new release of their Windows Server operating system.
This update adds on support for Advanced Micro Devices’s virtualization technology. In addition, it also brings integration with Microsoft Active Directory.
Microsoft added that this update adds Volume Shadow Service to the application. This improves upon the server backup process.
