Verizon Communications to offer Microsoft Live Services to their subscribers
Software giants Microsoft are feeling the heat of the competition from web based application developers and they are now working on launching their own Live branded services.
The company is now collaborating with US based telecom giants Verizon Communications. This deal would see Verizon offer the Windows Live services to its high-speed Internet customers.
The customers of their services would also be offered a jointly branded search page, a Windows Live toolbar and e-mail services from Microsoft.
The idea is to get more customers to use their services that would take on similar services from rivals like Google and Yahoo!
