Mozilla delay launch of Mozilla Firefox 2 beta 2
Open source foundation Mozilla has announced that they are delaying the launch of the second beta of their upcoming web browser application Firefox 2.
The delay is for around a week’s time as the Firefox 2 beta 2 was due to come out on August 8.
Mozilla had launched the first beta of this product last month. Beta 2 of Firefox 2 is now scheduled to come out on August 15.
They have not exactly revealed the reason behind this delay but apparently, they need to fix some regression errors and numerous other bugs before releasing a public beta.
They are also on track for a final launch of Firefox 2 on September 26.
