Quark launches QuarkXPress 7 as a universal binary for Apple Mac
Software Company Quark has finally launched their desktop-publishing package QuarkXPress 7 as a universal application for the Mac OS x 10.4 Tiger.
This QuarkXPress 7.01 update would be made available as a free upgrade to the owners of QuarkXPress 7.0 for Macintosh.
The universal binary version of this application would make sure that the application would run at its full potential on both older and new generation Mac computers.
With this, Quark has reignited its battle with Adobe in the desktop publishing market.
The company added that the application is available through resellers and at the Quark online store for $749 for new users and $249 for upgrades. The free upgrade for current owners is available on the company’s website.
