Novell claims SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 has been a smash hit since launch
Novell has now announced that their recently launched SUSE Linux Enterprise 10, the next-generation platform for the open enterprise has seen a pretty successful launch.
As per the information released by the company:
To date, over 165,000 users from around the globe have downloaded components of the SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 suite.
Approximately 286,000 unique visitors have been to the Novell Customer Center website
SUSE Linux Enterprise homepage has experienced over 312,000 hits in the past 10 days.
John Dragoon, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Novell added on these statistics: “We’re thrilled to see that the marketplace is just as excited by Novell’s new offerings as we are. It’s gratifying to see the hard work of the worldwide SUSE Linux team and the open source community acknowledged by thousands of corporate technologists and users.â€
He further said: “With SUSE Linux Enterprise 10, Novell has delivered the only complete Linux solution from the desktop to the data center. No other Linux solution can match its breadth, functionality or appeal.â€
