StumbleUpon releases a plug-in for Internet Explorer users

StumbleUpon has been a very popular service on the internet letting web users visit interesting sites discovered by other users on the network.

The company had already made available an extension for the Firefox users and now they have launched a plug-in for the users of Internet Explorer browser.

The service already claims a user base of around a million members and compatibility with Internet Explorer browser would further bring in tons of new potential members.

Garrett Camp, chief architect of StumbleUpon spoke on this new development: “Over one million members of the Mozilla Firefox community are already stumbling to discover great sites. With the release of the Internet Explorer extension, millions more can start discovering interesting sites they never knew existed.”

The plug-in for the internet explorer browser enables the users to view new sites discovered by other members online and they can also rate them using thumbs-up/thumbs-down buttons.
