Patch Tuesday of July 2006 coming up
Software giants Microsoft are due to launch yet another round of “critical” patches for both Windows and Office as part of its monthly patch release schedule.
The next Patch Tuesday is scheduled for July 11 and the company has now released a security advisory saying that they would be issuing four bulletins for Windows flaws and three for Office.
Microsoft is also planning to release an update to the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool and a non-security-related high-priority update.
Patch Tuesday in June was a big release for the company as they went on to release a dozen security bulletins, eight of them critical. This is pretty unusual for the company to release multitude of critical updates in consecutive months.
