Novell showcases preview of SuSE Linux Enterprise 10

Novell has previewed their upcoming SuSE Linux Enterprise 10 edition. The pre-release version is now available as a free download from the company’s website.

The company is due to launch the final version of this server operating system sometime later this year.

Novell claimed that the demand for this preview edition has been pretty high as they aim to challenge the Microsoft Server operating systems with this latest update.

Justin Steinman, director of product marketing at Novell spoke about this release: “The value of SuSE Linux Enterprise 10 can best be experienced hands-on, and we firmly believe that those people who take some time to kick the tires will end up wanting to drive it off the lot when it’s formally released in the next few weeks.”

The company has already launched the desktop version of SuSE Linux 10.
