Norton 360 launch date depends upon customer feedback
Symantec Corp. has said that the launch date of its upcoming security application Norton 360 would depend largely upon how the customers react to the beta and test versions of this suite.
The company added that the launch could be delayed if they need to make some major changes. This means that the launch could miss the launch date around the key holiday period in the United States.
Symantec is due to reveal more details on this upcoming web based subscription security service for their customers.
Symantec’s president of consumer products, Enrique Salem said that the launch is currently scheduled for an Autumn release. However, it can be delayed until the new year if the program was not up to scratch.
He said: “We are all working toward a fall release but the most important thing in all this is the beta feedback. We need to make sure we get it right and it’s robust.â€
