Yahoo! to allow services integration with Yahoo! Messenger
Search engine giants Yahoo! has said that they would allow users to embed independent programs in to their messaging application Yahoo! Messenger.
These independent programs would help the users to collaborate on various activities with other users like sharing calendars to watching videos on the internet.
These programs can be created by third party developers and the company itself would be providing their own web services for integration into the messaging application.
This would further extend the capabilities of the Yahoo! Messenger application as they prepare to counter the challenge provided by competitors like Skype, AOL Messenger and MSN Live Messenger.
