Check your Google PageRank: Simple and Stupid

Google might be having second thoughts about how soon to update the PRs of the websites for the general public but there is no shortage of sites that are harassing the cracked/hacked PR technology to let people check their site’s PageRank. And the latest I found surfing around is CheckPageRank. Simple and fast. Better than the other ones, I have seen online! Have fun!
Update: The website does not behave normally (PR is displayed without a page refresh!) so I got a friend of mine to analyse it… Here is the explaination:
That site embeds a new script tag into the page head using W3C DOM – that particular part is supported by IE 5+, Mozilla, and Opera 7.5+ only
Sounds funky though with pathetic browser support. :(

ya the stupid thing didn’t work for me. :???: Using firefox and all it says is “transferring http://www.checkpagerank.com” on the bottom left…weird.
