Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 2 in high demand

Software giants Microsoft have said that the demand for the recently released Windows Vista Beta 2 is so high that their servers are experiencing massively load due to the huge number of simultaneous downloads.

The company is still recommending the interested users to order a DVD copy of Windows Vista 2 rather than download the big ISO file from their servers.

The message from the company said: “The wait time to start the download is very long and many customers may be unable to access the download site. To guarantee participation in the Customer Preview Program (to receive both Beta 2 and RC1) we recommend you use the DVD kit order option.”

Microsoft even went on to claim that Vista beta 2 might become the most downloaded file on the internet. The company is not using the popular BitTorrent technology for making available this download though third party users have setup a site (Windows Vista Torrent) enabling people to download this software through p2p.
